A rainbow welcomed thirty-three students and six parent/staff chaperones at the start of an amazing community-building evening. What a great sign for good times and fond memories to come!
Our PTSO hired a resourceful and talented teenage DJ with her own business to spin popular tunes, prompting everyone to join in the fun on the dance floor. From Caleb T’s fly dance moves to Ms. Oberlin’s “trust fall” into student arms, the crowd had a roaring good time. The (not-so-healthy) spread of snacks and drinks gave everyone fuel to dance the conga and many other favorites.
Thanks to parent Rebecca Farlow and our Student Social Committee, led by student Zayna Sheridan, for orchestrating the successful evening, and thanks to our six parents/staff (including Principal Turner) for being in attendance and allowing our students safe, chaperoned fun with school friends after hours. Sad you missed out on all the fun? There’s always next time!
