Upper El class visits (formerly known as Shadow Days)

We are excited to announce our new procedures for incoming students to visit the Secondary Montessori environment. In response to parent requests, we are offering students the opportunity to visit our work cycles with their Upper El class. This allows students the chance to see the program in action as well as offers teachers the opportunity to observe Secondary Montessori so they will be able to then have helpful conversations with their students and families.

If you are a CMS Montessori Upper Elementary teacher, please sign up here. We look forward to seeing you!

  1. Hi, I am a new-ish Upper El Montessori teacher at Park Rd. Therefore, I sometimes still feel overwhelmed by anything outside my classroom, and occasionally inside it too…;) I missed the opportunity to schedule my 5th/6th graders to come for one of the shadowing visits in early Jan. before the lottery. I know that it’s very important to get them there, especially the fence-sitters, who are generally excellent students. Is there anything you can do to help me with this now?
