Exploring our world is built into our curriculum.
We create connections to the world around us through travel-learning and service work.
Many in our diverse group of students began their public Montessori education in pre-Kindergarten.
Our school is modeled after Cincinnati’s award-winning Clark Montessori, our nation’s first public Secondary Montessori school. We continue to consult with its founder as we grow and innovate.
Our all-inclusive, student-centric community fosters the evolution of the adolescent as (s)he transitions socially, emotionally, morally, physically and cognitively into adulthood. Our program exposes middle-schoolers to challenging, developmentally appropriate curriculum, while supporting them as they discover their potential as independent, self-motivated scholars.
We offer many ways to stay connected and engaged in the life of our community. Check out our blog, which provides the latest news, photos and events for parents, students and anyone wanting to be “in the know.” Subscribe to our weekly MailChimp e-blast, which highlights everything posted to our website once per week.
During the high school years, we advance the “whole child” approach used in Montessori elementary and middle school to guide adolescents (Erdkinder) into their college years and beyond. We balance academic rigor with personal interests and strengths, creating an individualized learning experience for each student in our community. Our school day begins at 9:15 a.m. and ends at 4:15 p.m.
